Upon arrival, officers detected an odor of alcohol on his breath, corroborated by EMS personnel. Engstrom, who has lost several toes, claimed this affected his balance but still consented to field sobriety tests. Officers arrested him after he failed the tests, and a breath sample revealed a Blood Alcohol Content of 0.
