Europe trade mission will promote B.C. tech, attract investment

A B. C. delegation will promote the province's technology sector at major European tech conferences from June 9 to June 14, 2025. Ministers Diana Gibson and Rick Glumac will engage with investors and stakeholders to attract investment and create jobs for British Columbians. This initiative aligns with B.

C. 's Trade Diversification Strategy, aimed at expanding the province's trading base in new and existing markets. The province currently benefits from a network of over 50 trade representatives across North America, Europe, and Asia. London Tech Week, VivaTech in Paris, and GreenTech in Amsterdam will serve as platforms to showcase B. C.

's innovations. At VivaTech, Canada will be featured as the Country of the Year, with 16 B. C. companies participating. GreenTech Amsterdam will highlight advancements in horticulture technology, showcasing B.

C. 's leadership in agritech innovation. These efforts are crucial for building global partnerships and driving sustainable growth in the province.
