Reservations open for two popular BC Parks backcountry adventures

Starting at 7 a. m. Pacific time on Dec. 2, 2025, outdoor enthusiasts can reserve sites for the Berg Lake Trail and Bowron Lake Canoe Circuit for the 2026 peak season. The Berg Lake Trail, located in Mount Robson Park, offers a 23-kilometre trek with breathtaking views of waterfalls and glaciers, with camping available from May 27 to Sept.

29. In contrast, the Bowron Lake Canoe Circuit includes 116 kilometres of paddling across 10 lakes, taking between six to 10 days to complete, depending on skill level. Reservations are required for the canoe circuit from May 15 until Sept. 27, and shorter paddling options are available. Both adventures are well-known and attract many visitors, making early reservations essential.
