The City of North Bend is set to finish the Sidewalk Gap Removal project on Thrasher Avenue NE by mid-October, which includes constructing new sidewalks and making curb, gutter, and stormwater improvements. This initiative is one of four planned projects aimed at enhancing pedestrian safety in the area this fall. Temporary lane closures will be implemented on Thrasher Avenue NE as construction progresses, impacting local traffic. Residents can also expect upgrades at the North Bend Way and Thrasher Avenue intersection. The city acknowledges the inconvenience caused and thanks residents for their understanding.
