Sergeant Ed Hall selected as North Bend Police Chief Sheriffs Office contract to begin in 2026
Ed Hall has been appointed as the Police Chief of North Bend, set to take office on April 1, 2026, after nearly three decades of law enforcement experience in Washington State. Hall, a lifelong Snoqualmie Valley resident, previously served as a Sergeant for the City of Sammamish and worked as a Deputy and Master Police Officer in SeaTac. He holds a bachelor's degree in the Administration of Criminal Justice from Washington State University. Mayor Mary Miller commended Hall for his dedication to public safety and community engagement during the selection process, which involved feedback from community members and interview panels. The transition of police services from the Snoqualmie Police Department to the King County Sheriff’s Office is a significant change for North Bend.
The city will continue to contract with Snoqualmie Police Department during this transition, ensuring a smooth process.
