Hennepin County Administrator David Hough will retire on July 31 after a distinguished 40-year career, including 12 years in the top executive position. Hough began as a law clerk in the Hennepin County Attorney’s Office and progressed to deputy administrator in 2008 before becoming the county's top executive in 2013.
Under his leadership, Hennepin County has become Minnesota's largest county, serving 1. 3 million residents across 45 cities.
