A gunman shot seven people, killing Gregory Sweeten, in Minneapolis on Tuesday afternoon. The shooter circled his victims in a car before opening fire on a sidewalk near Cristo Rey Jesuit High School. Tiffany Martindale and Ryan Quinn face charges in Hennepin County District Court for aiding the shooter, identified only as “Bino. ” Police Chief Brian O'Hara stated that three of the wounded victims are hospitalized in critical condition but expected to survive. The shooting occurred shortly before another mass shooting at Annunciation Church, highlighting a troubling trend of violence in the city.

Witnesses provided video evidence linking Quinn and Martindale to the incident, leading to their arrest. The charges reveal no motive for the shooting, and police have not announced further arrests. Quinn has a criminal history that includes multiple convictions, while Martindale has a record for obstructing police and drunken driving.
