Lynnwood man one of 10 arrested on drug, gun trafficking conspiracies

A coordinated law enforcement operation resulted in the arrest of ten individuals linked to drug and gun trafficking conspiracies in Western Washington. The Drug Enforcement Administration and Seattle Police Department conducted the operation, seizing around 100,000 fentanyl pills, 34 kilos of fentanyl powder, and 34 firearms. U. S. Attorney Charles Neil Floyd stated that the group's activities posed a serious threat to the community, trafficking dangerous drugs and high-powered weapons.

Notably, Jose Isabel Sandoval Zuniga was apprehended with significant quantities of fentanyl and firearms at a stash property in Centralia. The investigation was a year in the making, showcasing the commitment of various law enforcement agencies to combat these criminal activities. Floyd reiterated that the operation improved safety in the region. The defendants face serious allegations but are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court. This operation underscores the ongoing battle against drug trafficking and gun violence in the area.
