Election 2025 Hurst holds lead over Frizzell for mayor in latest vote count

Lynnwood's mayoral race features incumbent George Hurst leading with 3,165 votes (51. 21%) against Mayor Christine Frizzell, who has 2,990 votes (48. 38%). Frizzell shared her enthusiasm for future counts, hoping they will turn in her favor. In the City Council races, incumbent Derica Escamilla maintains a lead over Dio Boucsieguez with 3,526 votes (58.

44%). Isabel Mata's narrow lead over Ki Seung Cho grew from 22 to 35 votes, with Mata at 3,055 votes (50. 18%) and Cho at 3,021 votes (49. 62%). Position 3 Councilmember Josh Binda continues to trail Bryce Owings, who has 3,320 votes (55%) compared to Binda's 2,650 votes (43.

90%). Robert Leutwyler, another incumbent, leads with 3,721 votes (61. 75%) against Mpiima Mugambe's 2,285 votes (37. 92%). Voter turnout in Lynnwood reached 26.
