The Edmonds School District will host the 17th Annual Monster Mad Dash 5K Run and Walk on October 4 at Lake Ballinger. This event allows schools to fundraise for essential academic programs, with teams of 20 or more receiving a share of the net proceeds. Participants can form or join teams to support their local schools. Families will enjoy a Kids Zone, outdoor games, and offerings from local food trucks like Who Let the Dawgs Out and Hugs and Mini Donuts. Andi Nofziger-Meadows, president of the Edmonds Education Association, emphasized the event's role in enhancing student learning through community engagement.
