Living Voices to present Native Vision in Lynnwood Sept. 17

On September 17, actor Lori Tapahonso will perform in Lynnwood, presenting the story of Alice, a Navajo Code Talker from World War II. This live event will feature archival media and explore themes of Native resilience, identity, and service. It will also address the challenging history of Native American boarding schools, providing context to the experiences of Indigenous peoples. The Wickers Gallery, where the performance will take place, is open to the public and fully ADA accessible. Tapahonso, a citizen of the Navajo Nation and raised in Acoma Pueblo, aims to enlighten audiences about the significant contributions of Native Americans during the war.
