Lynnwood man arrested for uploading child sexual abuse material released on bail

Lynnwood police detained Fox Curtis Fitzpatrick, 25, on Wednesday after receiving tips from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children regarding over 50 uploads of child sexual abuse material. Officers arrested him at his workplace, where he was found with a concealed firearm without a permit. A search of his residence uncovered two additional firearms and the seizure of digital devices. Fitzpatrick faces five charges: four counts of distributing child sexual abuse material and one count of carrying a concealed firearm. He posted a $10,000 bond and was released the next day.

The case underscores the ongoing battle against child exploitation online and raises questions about firearm ownership among individuals involved in such activities. Law enforcement officials have pledged to continue monitoring and addressing online child exploitation.
