Evergreen State Fair to host Healthy Communities Day Aug. 26

The Evergreen State Fair will celebrate Healthy Communities Day on August 26, aiming to enhance health and wellness engagement in Snohomish County. In collaboration with the Snohomish County Health Department, the event will feature numerous booths, interactive displays, and wellness activities tailored for all age groups. Dr. James Lewis, health officer for the department, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, emphasizing the importance of local organizations in building a healthier community. The fair will also offer Evergreen Morning of Dreams, a calmer experience for those sensitive to sensory stimulation, scheduled from 9-11 a.

m. Kids’ Day coincides with the event, allowing children ages 6-12 to enter for $7, while admission remains free for children under five. Regular fair admission will cover access to Healthy Communities Day activities. The fair gates will open at 10:30 a. m.
