Upcoming kids fire camps offer free fun for whole family

Lynnwood, WALocal News

South County Fire is set to host four Kids Fire Camps in August, providing fun and educational activities for families. The camps will include a firefighter challenge obstacle course, fire engine tours, and opportunities to spray water from a fire hose. Scheduled events will occur in Mountlake Terrace, Edmonds, Lynnwood, and Brier, with no registration required for attendance. Additionally, an online Fire Camp is available for families unable to participate in person. Children must be accompanied by an adult at the in-person camps to ensure safety and supervision.

These camps follow a successful event in Mill Creek in June, emphasizing community engagement and fire safety education. South County Fire encourages local families to take part in these free activities. For more information, visit www. southsnofire. org/FireCamp.
