City of Lynnwood releases results of 2025 Lynnwood community survey
Lynnwood officials unveiled the results of the 2025 community survey during the July 21 City Council meeting, emphasizing notable resident satisfaction with government performance and safety. Conducted by Polco, the survey achieved an 11% response rate from 3,000 randomly selected households, with 323 residents participating. Key findings included strong satisfaction with utility infrastructure and mobility, while affordability in the local economy emerged as a pressing concern. Compared to the 2018 survey, 27 areas saw statistically significant improvements, while 62 ratings remained stable and 11 experienced declines. Mayor Christine Frizzell highlighted the survey's role in fostering community engagement and decision-making for city services.
The survey has been conducted six times since 2002, offering consistent insights into resident opinions. Lynnwood's economy, while showing strengths, indicates that many residents still seek improvements in affordability.
