Williams dedicated 30 years to King County Parks, becoming the first manager of Cougar Mountain Regional Wildland Park, and has been actively involved in various sustainability initiatives. He expressed appreciation for the recognition and highlighted the importance of community engagement in environmental stewardship. Jun, a student at Gibson Ek, has contributed significantly to local sustainability efforts, serving on the City’s Environmental Board and helping organize the first Sustainability Fair. Her advocacy has aimed at creating lasting environmental change, particularly among her peers.

As she prepares to study in New York, she plans to continue her environmental work, blending art, nature, and science.
