City Mourns Passing of WA Sen. Bill Ramos

Representing the 5th Legislative District since 2019, he was known for his impactful work on transportation policy, equity, and environmental issues. Before his Senate tenure, Ramos served on the Issaquah City Council from 2016 to 2019, where he focused on thoughtful growth and transportation improvements. Mayor Mary Lou Pauly expressed deep sorrow over his loss, emphasizing his role as a mentor and friend.
