Participants can join the City Nature Challenge, guided by Urban Forestry Supervisor Dan Hintz, to help identify local species and contribute to global biodiversity efforts. The event also features hands-on activities such as story time with a mermaid, recycling games, and workshops on DIY green cleaning and fabric repair.

A clothing swap aims to divert gently used clothes from landfills, promoting sustainable fashion choices. Additionally, a sneak peek of the upcoming Issaquah Farmers Market will offer local goods to attendees. This fair not only educates but also fosters community spirit and encourages sustainable living practices.
