In her reflections, Lexi noted that her family was drawn to Issaquah Highlands early in its development due to its numerous recreational opportunities and community-centric design. She enjoys exploring the various trails and parks in the area, discovering hidden gems like the telescope near the retention pond. Lexi's journey into volunteering began at a sixth-grade birthday party, which included a memorable community event, motivating her to create similar experiences for others.

As she grew more involved, Lexi transitioned from a hesitant newcomer to the co-president of the HY Board, expressing gratitude for the supportive environment that allowed her to learn and thrive.
