The Issaquah community is invited to its first Open Studio Tour on September 7, 2024, where ten local artists will open their studios to the public. The event is organized by Ali Marcus from Happy Time Studio, aiming to create connections between artists and art enthusiasts. The driving tour will highlight diverse art forms and the creative processes behind them. Among the featured artists are acrylic painter Katie Weaver, who will offer visitors a chance to create a notecard, and musician John Riziki, who will perform on his porch. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to meet other local artists, including a woodturner, storyteller, and visual artists.

Those who visit at least five studios can enter a raffle for a $500 prize, encouraging community engagement. The tour is funded by the Issaquah Arts Commission and 4Culture, showcasing the city's vibrant art scene. This initiative not only supports local artists but also inspires creativity within the community.
