New Art Gallery at Blakely Hall: "Light & Renewal"

The 'Light & Renewal' art gallery, presented by the Puget Sound Group Northwest Artists (PSGNWA), has opened at Blakely Hall in Issaquah Highlands and will be available for viewing from April through June 2023. The exhibition features a diverse range of original 2D artworks from local artists, encouraging reflections on the themes of light and renewal associated with spring. Caryn Vainio, a PSGNWA board member, highlighted the exhibition's potential to inspire both artists and viewers. Juried by well-known landscape artist Mike Wise, the exhibition ensures a high standard of quality. Visitors can explore the gallery during weekdays from 9 a.

m. to 4 p. m. , with a special reception on April 8 from 11 a. m.

to 2 p. m. This event not only showcases local artistic talent but also fosters community engagement and appreciation for the arts. As PSGNWA celebrates 95 years of promoting visual arts, this exhibition marks a significant milestone in enriching the cultural fabric of the region, offering a unique opportunity for residents and visitors to connect with the vibrant art scene of Issaquah Highlands.
