Busy Weekend at Issaquah BevMo Results in Arrests
Over the weekend, police arrested two suspects involved in a series of thefts at the BevMo in Issaquah. On November 15, staff alerted authorities about three individuals stealing alcohol gift sets, prompting an immediate police response. The following day, officers observed a vehicle with a covered license plate, similar to the one used in the previous thefts. One suspect hid inside the car with a cart full of stolen alcohol when authorities arrived. The suspects were detained after store staff identified them based on descriptions.
One suspect had broken a bottle inside the store before attempting to leave with merchandise. Both individuals were arrested and booked into the Issaquah City Jail, with stolen items returned to the store. This incident highlights the Issaquah PD's commitment to addressing retail theft and collaborating with local businesses to enhance community safety.
