Issaquah, WALocal News

Over the past week, Issaquah police reported multiple theft incidents, highlighting the need for community vigilance as the holiday season approaches. On November 7, officers responded to a shoplifting incident at Target, where a woman concealed $118 worth of household items and left without paying. The police issued a citation for third-degree theft after store loss prevention staff confronted her. The next day, a man was arrested for stealing a package after officers received a tip from a neighborhood group chat. Upon detaining him, officers found the stolen parcel and confirmed it belonged to a nearby resident.

The police are investigating documents belonging to other individuals found in his possession.
