Issaquah School District invites families to connect with staff during informal discussions on Oct. 9 at the ISD Administrative Office, with sessions from 10:30 a. m. to 12 p. m.

and 6:30 p. m. to 8:30 p. m. Future Family Connections meetings are set for Dec.

8, March 16, and May 11. Superintendent Heather Tow-Yick shares insights on student academic performance and highlights the importance of building communication and collaboration skills. The school board is seeking community input on the "Profile of a Graduate" during town hall meetings at Beaver Lake, Maywood, and Issaquah Middle Schools from Oct. 16 to Oct. 28.

Additionally, the Issaquah Schools Foundation is promoting the Monster Mash 5K, with early registration ending on Oct. 12. Parents can attend a talk on navigating multicultural family dynamics on Oct. 20, featuring experts from The Gottman Institute. The 2026 Levy Advisory Committee recommends renewing the district's current levy measures for funding.
