Five suspects connected to a transnational organized crime ring were arrested in Fontana after a burglary incident on Easter Sunday in Irvine. The Irvine Police Department received a call from a resident reporting intruders, leading to the discovery of a ransacked home and stolen designer items. Officers stopped a suspicious vehicle and arrested Jhon Osorioarias, who was found to be unlicensed and linked to the burglary crew. The police investigation, involving a drone team, connected Osorioarias to other burglaries throughout Southern California. On May 15, he and four accomplices were arrested and booked on charges including burglary and conspiracy.

Search warrants executed in Fontana and Colton yielded evidence linking the group to the Irvine break-in. Although some narcotics were found, the specific types and quantities remain undisclosed. The investigation is ongoing, with detectives reviewing evidence and considering additional charges.
