From September 30 to October 4, Irvine will celebrate Nonprofit Week, highlighting the contributions of local nonprofits. The week-long event aims to foster connections among professionals and volunteers within the nonprofit sector. An opening reception, featuring Lindsey Spindle, President of Samueli Family Philanthropies, will occur on September 30 from 4-6 p. m. The following day, a networking conference will be hosted at City Hall, running from 8:45 a.

m. to 11:30 a. m. This initiative not only recognizes the positive impact of nonprofits but also provides a platform for collaboration and resource sharing. Local nonprofits are crucial in addressing various community challenges, from education to health services.

By facilitating these events, the City of Irvine seeks to strengthen the nonprofit sector and enhance its effectiveness. Nonprofit Week aims to create lasting connections that benefit both organizations and the community at large.
