Sally Elizabeth Payne

Sally Elizabeth Payne passed away on April 9, 2025, at the age of 85 in The Dalles, Oregon. Born on December 15, 1939, in Goldendale, she was the daughter of Charles and Nellie Ownby (Ray). She married Larry Payne, who predeceased her in 2023, and had a passion for gardening and quilting throughout her life. Sally is survived by her children, Bradley D. Payne and Pamela Forbes, as well as grandchildren Daniel and Darren Payne and great-grandchildren Shaila Sebert and Blaise Payne.

Her surviving siblings include Dean Payne, Gerald Payne, and Elinor Proctor. No services are planned at this time, and arrangements were made by Columbia Hill Memorial Chapel in Goldendale. Contributions can be made in her memory by planting a tree through the Tribute Store. This legacy reflects her love for nature and family.
