On December 1, former President Barack Obama will headline the "Building Bridges" civic dialogue series at Crystal Bridges Museum in Bentonville, Arkansas. The event, which is free to the public and starts at 3:30 p. m. , aims to foster meaningful dialogue during a time of national polarization. Obama will deliver a public talk and lead a private roundtable with approximately 450 Arkansas students and teachers, highlighting the importance of civic engagement.

This visit marks Obama's third to the state, with prior appearances in 2006 and 2014. Tickets are limited to two per account, with members of Crystal Bridges receiving priority access beginning November 21. The series aims to celebrate shared democratic values and the American spirit, especially as the nation approaches its 250th anniversary. Museum officials view this event as a significant step in transforming the museum into a civic forum, enhancing local engagement. By hosting a former president, Crystal Bridges elevates its role in the community while addressing broader national themes.
