UAFS Career Fair to connect students with area employers across industries

The University of Arkansas–Fort Smith (UAFS) will host its Fall 2025 All-Majors Career Fair on Oct. 29, running from 11:30 a. m. to 2:30 p. m.

in the Reynolds Room of the Smith-Pendergraft Campus Center. This fair aims to connect UAFS students and alumni with regional and national employers across various industries, including healthcare and technology. "The job market is tough right now, so we want to give our students every advantage," stated Susan Krafft, executive director of the Babb Center for Career Services. The event is part of a broader initiative to support students throughout the semester, which includes workshops on resume writing and interview techniques. UAFS has also organized industry-specific fairs earlier this fall, such as the Accounting & Finance Meet the Firms event.

In preparation for the career fair, UAFS will hold a SUIT UP event on Oct. 26, providing discounts on professional attire for students and alumni. The fair is sponsored by ArcBest/ArcBest Technologies, with Rheem as the platinum sponsor. Other notable sponsors include CED/Consolidated Electrical Distributors and Arvest Bank.
