'Boo Buckets' are back Fall favorite returns to McDonald's restaurants nationwide

Fort Smith, ARLocal News

McDonald's has reintroduced its beloved "Boo Buckets" for Halloween, available at select Fort Smith and River Valley locations while supplies last. This Halloween tradition has delighted customers since 1986, with decorative pails replacing the classic Happy Meal box. The 2025 edition includes fan-favorite characters such as Ghost, Pumpkin, and Goblin, alongside new characters Cat and Zombie, each offering three distinct expressions for collectors. These pails serve a dual purpose, functioning as both meal containers and trick-or-treating buckets. McDonald's highlighted their uniqueness in the Halloween bucket market, stating, "there's only one OG Halloween bucket.

" The "Boo Buckets" are available at eight locations in Fort Smith, including 2221 Grand Ave. and 5712 Kelley Hwy. The initiative reflects McDonald's commitment to seasonal offerings, maintaining a nostalgic appeal for customers. This year's lineup showcases the brand's ability to blend tradition with innovation in their holiday promotions.
