Haunted University welcomes trick-or-treaters, families to UAFS campus

The University of Arkansas-Fort Smith gears up for its 22nd annual Haunted University celebration on Saturday, Oct. 25, from 6 to 9 p. m. , inviting thousands of costumed guests to enjoy Halloween festivities. Organized by the Campus Activities Board, the event will feature a haunted house, Trunk or Treat, carnival games, and an outdoor screening of "Monsters University" beginning at 6:30 p.

m. Breeanna Haney, director of events for the Campus Activities Board, noted that the celebration unites the community in a fun, festive atmosphere. Admission is free, making the event accessible for families and children of all ages. Attendees are encouraged to wear costumes and bring trick-or-treat bags to participate fully. UAFS student organizations and academic departments will enhance the experience with themed trunks and interactive booths.

The Haunted University celebration not only entertains but also strengthens community ties during the Halloween season. With thousands expected to attend, this year’s event promises to be a highlight for the River Valley community.
