The affected ice cream was distributed in 16 states, including Texas and Florida, posing a serious risk for individuals allergic to almonds, walnuts, and pecans. The product, identified by the lot code 061027524, is packaged in a Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough carton but contains nuts not declared on the label. The FDA reported that no illnesses or deaths have been linked to the recall thus far, but consumers are advised to consult medical professionals if they experience adverse effects. Those who purchased the product can return it for a refund at the retailer.

Blue Bell has not disclosed specific store locations where the ice cream was sold. The Moo-llennium Crunch flavor features vanilla ice cream mixed with various chocolate and nut components. This recall highlights the importance of accurate labeling, especially regarding food allergens.
