Former prosecutor Tim McDonald campaigns for Benton County judgeship

Tim McDonald, a former prosecutor, has officially entered the race for the newly created Circuit Judge Division 8 in Benton County. He leverages over a decade of legal experience, particularly in prosecuting crimes against children, from his tenure at the Benton County Prosecutor’s Office. McDonald previously worked in Missouri, focusing on violent and property crimes. As a judge advocate in the U. S.

Army National Guard and Army Reserves since 2013, he has also served in the Middle East with the Army’s 35th Infantry Division. “I’ve dedicated my life to public service, both as a prosecutor and as an Army soldier,” McDonald said, highlighting his commitment to public service. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Saint Louis University and a law degree from the University of Pittsburgh. Beyond his professional endeavors, McDonald is active in his community, coaching a mock trial team and volunteering at the Benton County Children and Family Advocacy Center. His candidacy represents a continuation of his dedication to serving Benton County.
