Baptist Health Alma expands care team with two new nurse practitioners

Baptist Health Family Clinic–Alma has expanded its care team by adding two nurse practitioners, Drake Lee and Kourtney Surber. Lee, a Greenwood native with a Doctor of Nursing Practice, specializes in pediatrics and family medicine. He previously worked as a registered nurse at Arkansas Children’s Hospital and aims to build lasting relationships with families in the Alma community. Surber, holding a Master of Science in Nursing, has nearly a decade of experience in orthopedics, intensive care, and surgical recovery. Both practitioners will offer a wide range of services, including wellness exams, acute care, and chronic disease management.

The clinic, located at 937 Highway 64 East, operates Monday through Friday from 8 a. m. to 5 p. m. Lee highlighted his commitment to caring for patients at every stage of life, while Surber noted the importance of meeting patients where they are in their health journey.

This expansion is crucial for enhancing healthcare access in Crawford County.
