Devil's Den murder suspect was getting a haircut at a Springdale salon when he was arrested

Andrew James McGann, 28, was arrested on Wednesday while getting a haircut at Lupita’s Beauty Salon in Springdale, Arkansas, on charges of capital murder. He faces two counts related to the deaths of Clinton and Cristen Brink, whose bodies were discovered at Devil's Den State Park on Saturday. Detectives entered the salon during McGann's haircut, identified him, and took him into custody around 5 p. m. Video evidence captured investigators photographing hair clippings and marking a black sedan parked outside as evidence.

The salon was subsequently closed for investigation. Authorities have not revealed a motive for the murders, raising concerns about safety in local parks. The case has garnered attention due to its shocking nature and the suspect's arrest during a routine activity. Local residents are calling for increased security measures in outdoor recreational areas.
