Emergency crews crawl under train to save woman stuck on bridge in Oklahoma

Crews successfully rescued a woman trapped beneath a train on a bridge in Vian, Oklahoma, Tuesday afternoon. The woman was pinned under the Union Pacific train approximately 40 feet above solid ground and about 50 feet from the bridge's edge. Firefighters, police officers, and EMS personnel crawled under the train to reach her after assessing the situation. Once freed, she declined medical treatment and appeared to have no serious injuries. Town administrator Keith Boshers reported that officials are investigating how the woman became stuck.

This incident underscores the rapid response capabilities of local emergency services in high-risk scenarios. Vian's emergency crews frequently train for such rescues, enhancing their preparedness for unusual emergencies.
