Everett Celebrates Kids to Parks Day 2025

National Kids to Parks Day will be celebrated in Everett on May 17 with a variety of activities at multiple parks. The day kicks off at 9:30 a. m. with preschool crafts at Forest Park, followed by bike safety checks at Emma Yule Park, where Sharing Wheels and the Everett YMCA will provide services and crafts. At Howarth Park, Saplings Outdoor School will engage children in scavenger hunts and circle time.

The Everett Rowing Association will introduce youth to rowing at Thornton A. Sullivan Park, while storytime will be led by the Everett Public Library at Hauge Homestead Park. Lions Park will feature sports and activity stations hosted by the Cascade Boys & Girls Club. A youth golf clinic at Legion Memorial Golf Course will offer participants lessons and incentives for summer registration. This day aims to promote outdoor exploration and community involvement among families in Everett.
