Snohomish County Sports Hall of Fame 2025 Induction Class Announced

The Snohomish County Sports Hall of Fame Committee announced the 2025 Induction Class, which features four athletes, two coaches, one sports contributor, and one team. Brent Lillibridge, a standout baseball player, earned accolades at both Jackson High School and the University of Washington before playing seven seasons in Major League Baseball. Rick Fenney, recognized as one of Washington's top running backs, made his mark at the University of Washington and in the NFL with the Vikings. Bowling greats Ed Hansen and Sarah Schireman Linse also join the induction class, each leaving a substantial legacy in their sports. Coaches Fred Shull and Laurel Tindall receive honors for their transformative impacts on baseball and gymnastics, respectively, with Shull leading Edmonds Community College to its first conference championship.

Tindall guided Seattle Pacific University to three NCAA championships and coached multiple national champions. The induction celebrates the 15th class of the Hall of Fame, emphasizing the importance of local sports history and mentorship in Snohomish County. This event not only honors individual achievements but also inspires future generations of athletes and coaches.
