A significant climate activism event, the Global Climate Strike Die-in, is set for Friday, September 20th, at noon in downtown Everett. Taking place at the Snohomish County East Administration Building, this demonstration aims to raise awareness about the urgent need for climate action. The event is sponsored by prominent local groups, including 350 Everett and the League of Women Voters of Snohomish County. Participants are encouraged to arrive by 11:45 AM to create impactful signs that depict the causes of climate-related deaths. This 11-minute Die-in serves as a poignant reminder of the 11 years left to take decisive action against irreversible climate damage.

The League of Women Voters will also facilitate voter registration from 11 AM to 1 PM, linking civic engagement with climate advocacy. Such events highlight the growing urgency surrounding climate change and mobilize community action. Local leaders and citizens alike are called upon to join this important movement for a sustainable future.
