UPDATE - Arrest made in 1984 cold case homicide

On May 1, 2024, Mitchell Gaff was arrested in connection with the cold case homicide of Judith “Judy” Weaver, who was murdered in 1984 in Everett, WA. The arrest followed the emergence of new DNA evidence that identified Gaff as the prime suspect. Charged with first-degree murder, Gaff is currently detained at Snohomish County Jail.
