Shooting at 1100 block of W. Casino Road leaves one dead and one injured

A shooting at the Park View Apartments on W. Casino Road in Everett, WA, on September 22, 2024, left one man dead and a woman injured. Police responded to the scene around 1:05 p. m. and found two victims, with the female transported to the hospital for treatment.

Witnesses identified the suspect and his vehicle, prompting a police pursuit that began shortly after. The chase ended when the suspect's vehicle crashed on I-5 North, where officers heard gunshots from inside the car. Upon safely approaching the vehicle, they found the suspect deceased, with no gunfire exchanged from law enforcement. The incident has led to partial lane closures on I-5, causing delays for motorists. The Everett Police Department continues to investigate the circumstances surrounding this tragic event.
