Petco Love invests in the Everett Animal Shelter to save and improve the lives of local pets

The Everett Animal Shelter has recently been awarded a generous $50,000 grant from Petco Love, a national nonprofit focused on enhancing pet welfare. This grant is part of a larger commitment by Petco Love to invest over $15 million in local organizations across the country, aiming to prevent unnecessary euthanasia of pets. Since its founding in 1999, Petco Love has invested nearly $400 million in lifesaving efforts, helping over 6. 8 million pets find loving homes. Susanne Kogut, the president of Petco Love, highlighted the organization’s mission to empower local animal welfare initiatives.

Glynis Frederiksen, the manager of Everett Animal Services, expressed her appreciation for this support, stating it will significantly boost the shelter's capacity to care for pets in need.
