Two Suspects Arrested in Decembers Silverlake Murder Case
Everett Police have made two arrests in connection with a December murder case that has drawn significant attention in the Silverlake area. The suspects, both 18 and identified as gang members, allegedly lured the victim, a male in his 40s, to the scene of the shooting under false pretenses of a sexual meetup. Despite immediate lifesaving efforts, the victim succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds at the scene. The first suspect, Bryan Hernandez-Ramirez, was arrested on February 25, 2025, and booked for second-degree murder. A week later, the second suspect, Martin Mirey Alvarez, was apprehended and charged with first-degree murder, with bail set at $2 million.
Court records reveal Alvarez's prior involvement in domestic violence cases, raising concerns about his history with firearms. The arrests underscore the ongoing issues of gang violence in Everett, prompting Major Crimes Detectives to intensify their investigations.
