Suspect in mid-January stabbing arrested

On January 29, 2025, Everett Police arrested Andrew Freeman, the suspect in a stabbing incident involving a 13-year-old boy on January 16. The arrest was made possible by a community member's tip, underscoring the critical role of public engagement in enhancing safety. Mayor Cassie Franklin expressed her heartbreak over the attack, highlighting her personal connection to the area.
