A devastating RV fire in Everett, Washington, claimed the life of an adult male and critically injured another individual in a residential area near Paine Field. The incident unfolded around 10:30 a. m. , prompting a swift response from Everett Fire, South County Fire, and Mukilteo Fire. Upon arrival, firefighters encountered a fully involved motorhome and an unresponsive adult female outside.

Despite the best efforts of emergency personnel, the male occupant was pronounced dead at the scene due to the challenges posed by hoarding conditions inside the RV. The Snohomish County PUD crew, who were in the area for an unrelated job, assisted in rescuing the female victim. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Everett Fire Marshal's Office, with no indication of criminal activity thus far. The incident has highlighted the increased fire risks associated with living in RVs under hoarding conditions. Residents are reminded of the importance of fire safety measures, including keeping exits clear and ensuring working smoke alarms.
