Stuff a Bus returns to Everett in 2025

Everett Transit and Volunteers of America Western Washington will host the annual Stuff a Bus campaign, running on select weekends in November and December. The event will be stationed at Fred Meyer in Murphy's Corner from 10 a. m. to 4 p. m.

on November 29-30, December 6-7, and December 13-14. Last year, the drive garnered 9,026 pounds of food and 2,024 pounds of non-food items, with 3,025 gifts valued at about $33,370. Steve Oss, president of ATU Local 883, stated that the campaign brings holiday cheer and encourages the community to embrace the spirit of giving. Brian Smith, CEO of VOAWW, noted that the generosity shown by local residents brightens the holidays for hundreds of families. For those who cannot attend, online donations can be made through a designated link and an Amazon Wish List.

The initiative exemplifies community solidarity and support for those in need during the holiday season.
