2 Alarm Fire Damages 5 Boathouses, 2 Boats At Everett Marina

A fire broke out at the G dock of the Port of Everett Marina Monday morning, damaging five boathouses and two boats. The Everett Fire Department received reports of the fire around 7:50 AM, leading to a two-alarm response to manage the situation. Firefighters, along with Everett Police Marine boats, quickly brought the fire under control, with no reported injuries. According to Everett Fire PIO Rachael Doniger, one boat was completely destroyed and another suffered approximately 10 percent damage. Investigators are assessing the extent of the damage and seeking to establish the cause of the fire.
