The Ten-01 Pub Grand Opening is This Friday
The Ten-01 Pub celebrates its grand opening on January 17, 2025, at 1001 Hewitt Ave in Downtown Everett. Holly Heath and Shane Ratigan, the new owners, purchased the historic building, established in 1907, at a public auction. They rebranded the venue to distance it from the infamous Anchor Tavern, which closed due to the owner's conviction for child rape. The new establishment maintains a tradition of offering discounted beers during train passings, priced at just $2 for domestic drafts. Heath and Ratigan, who also run The Pinehurst Pub in North Seattle, highlighted their desire to create a welcoming environment for the community.
They invested considerable effort in transforming the bar into a vibrant space reflective of Everett's spirit. The grand opening will feature live music, starting with Sugar Push at 7 PM and The True Romans performing from 9 PM to midnight, alongside food and drink specials. This event marks a significant step in revitalizing local nightlife and community engagement in Everett.
