Woman Injured After Crashing into Everett Mall

Everett, WALocal News

A woman in her 60s suffered significant injuries after crashing her white Honda HRV into the Floor & Decor wall at Everett Mall around 4:30 PM on July 6, 2025. Firefighters utilized the jaws of life to extricate her from the vehicle, which left her trapped inside. Everett Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the accident, which occurred in a low-speed area typically designated for parking. Witnesses indicated that the damage to the vehicle suggested she may have been driving at high speeds. This incident follows a series of accidents at the mall, including a crane crash in 2024 and a car crashing into a restaurant last month, raising safety concerns among local officials.

In March, another vehicle crashed into Athea’s Footwear, indicating a troubling trend. The frequency of these accidents may prompt local authorities to reassess safety measures in the area. Residents express growing concern over the potential risks associated with driving in such crowded commercial zones.
