Kelli Thode Named President of Rotary Club of Everett

Kelli Thode was sworn in as president of the Rotary Club of Everett on July 1, 2025, during the club's Changing of the Guard ceremonies. Taking over from Michael Kvistad, Thode will lead the club through the 2025-2026 year, focusing on the theme “Unite for Good. ” She plans to collaborate with neighboring Rotary Clubs on community service projects and social events, stating, "We will collaborate on some service projects and social events. " The new board also includes notable members such as president-elect Kari Petrasek and vice president Ryan Willis. The Rotary Club of Everett has a long history of service, having awarded over $5 million in scholarships to local students and organized economic and literacy projects in the Dominican Republic.

The club's commitment to community service remains strong as it adapts to hybrid meeting formats. Thode's leadership marks a new chapter for the club in its 108th year. The Rotary Club of Everett, founded in 1916, is part of a global network of over 35,000 clubs dedicated to humanitarian efforts.
